Example:

Given:
Ozone output: 48 pounds/day
Weight % to ozone from O2 : 6%

What is the O2 requirement for the above ozone application?

Calculations:
48 lb/day ÷ 24 hrs/day = 2 lb/h
2 lb/h ÷ 6% = 33.3 lb O2/h
33.3 lb O2/h x 12.1 = 403 SCFH

Answer: 403 SCFH of O2

Note: If the weight % concentration on air is known, switching to an O2 feed gas will generally double the weight % concentration value.
