UIG Inks Pact To Sell O2 Generators In India

Universal Industries Gases has signed an agreement to market Oxygen Generating Systems’ (OGSI) line of oxygen generators in India while providing engineering and installation services.
The generators can produce up to 5000 scf/hr (131 MN3/hr) and are intended to replace bulk liquid oxygen storage tanks used by most Indian industrial gas customers.
“UIG was selected because of their international experience in marketing, engineering and equipment installation,” said Bob Schlehr, marketing manager for OGSI. “UIG also brings alternatives to our typical sale of equipment leasing and sale of gas, this giving the customer more choices.”
“UIG has been working informally with OGSI for the last four years and is impressed with the quality of their small and fractional tonnage PSA oxygen plant designs which are based on over 10 years experience. Our skills and experience compliment those of OGSI,” said Glenn Hertzog, UGI vice president.
